<title>Route of the Hiawatha</title>

The "crown jewel" of rail-to-trail mountain bicycle trails is operated by Lookout Pass Ski Area which is located adjacent to I-90 at the Idaho/Montana state line, 12 miles east of historic Wallace, Idaho.  The Hiawatha Trail is open daily from May 24 thru October 5 from 8:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. PDT. The Hiawatha Bike Trail is on U. S. National Forest land administered by the St. Joe Ranger District of the Idaho Panhandle National Forest. ]]></description>

In addition, the corporation intends to coordinate and share efforts in support of new and existing trail systems in the St. Joe and Coeur d'Alene River basins and throughout northern Idaho and neighboring states with connecting trails.]]></description>
