This Life Magazine award-winning "Dream House" is well set back from Red Sky on about 3/4 acre with rear of home facing the 16th fairway of the Nakoma Golf Resort.

Designed by John Rattenbury of Taliesin, the onging architectural firm of Frank Lloyd Wright. Mr. Rattenbury is a protege of FLW.

Opening clerestory windows front and back of the open living space over interior light decks provides natural indirect lighting and refreshing summer breezes for superb ambience.

You will have no shortage of entertainment space with this outside living area. About half of the deck is covered, providing protection from afternoon sun & occasional rain. As the sun sets, the sunlight filtering of the trees offers confortable evenings.

You will not feel crowded in the huge Great Room, even with a grand piano. An "Xtraordinare" fireplace provides with positive air pressure blower heats the entire house. Just crack the window a little bit at the far end of the home and the hot air from the fireplace will be find its way there. And with the catalytic convertor, your fire exhaust will be gentle on the environment.

WIth all three sets of doors open, it's as if the Great Room extends out into open space. The covered deck and trees prevent that mean Western sun from overheating the home. You will not likely use the air condition more than a few weeks a year.

The super-economical and environment-friendly geothermal heat-pump system will keep you toasty warm even on the coldest Winter days. And in the summer, the system runs "in reverse" to provide central air conditioning for the entire home.

The spacious Master Bedroom offers a view to the forest through the covered deck. The master bath includes a professional-grade "Ultra" spa tub.

Where the original Taliesin "Dream House" design included a third bedroom, we opted for a large entertainment space. Although we choose to use it as a billiards room, it could serve as a home theatre, music room, library ... let the imagination roam.

The step-down bar (with sink and wine refrigerator) allows guests to sit in standard height chairs and enjoy the view to the golf course. The bar also serves guests on the deck through large sliding windows. All nicely situated next to the pool table.

An entertainment delight, this spacious dining room offers views up and down the 16th fairway and to the 16th green. And conveniently only a few steps from the kitchen.

The conveniently located gourmet kitchen overlooks the nearby dining room with a view to the forest-lined golf course.

Perfect for entertaining, the standalone bar is only a few steps from the kitchen and the serving counter. The rapid-response electric range, two convection ovens plus microwave oven offer endless gourmet cooking possibilities.

Your guests will appreciate the comfortable guest bedroom located at the opposite end of the home from the master bedroom for privacy. With direct access from the bedroom, the private patio overlooking the 16th fairway is a wonderful quiet spot for that morning cup of coffee.

The guest bathroom incorporates a super-soothing "Ultra" spa tub (similar to the one in the master bedroom) with skylight overhead to flood your water-massage with that morning sunrise.
