About "Snippets"

by Enfeedia

The Palo Alto Research Center defines "snippets" as follows:

A segment of a document. Typically, a snippet is a set of contiguous text about the size of a paragraph and is about a single topic. Non-text items could qualify as snippets too, such as a graph, picture, or diagram.

Enfeedia's Snippets feature is an aggregator of RSS feeds with special features such as a "members-only" password protection option and various publishing options. The items in each feed are snippets of information typically pertaining to a relatively narrowly focused topic, and all the snippets in the numerous feeds taken together produce a comprehensive presentation of information covering a broad topic area.

Because Snippets is based on RSS feeds, one can subscribe to, even receive alerts for, feeds such that when new snippets are posted, one can quickly be notified of that new content. Combined with Enfeedia's fast and easy posting system, information can be distributed to a wide audience, either publicly or privately, in real time. By simply referring to the Snippets webpage, one can easily stay abreast of the latest information.

Applications include community online newsletters, organization internal interdepartment communications, and business promotions, press releases, and public relations announcements.

Publish your own custom Snippets webpage at Enfeedia. You can choose to make your Snippets page open to public viewing or private using password protection.
