The most frequent oversight in posting a feed item
FeedBack ( 0) In posting an item on a feed, be sure to provide a link to online content that provides in-depth material about your posting -- probably a page on your website.
The good way to do this is to replace the default URL for your Item Link with the URL you want. The default is simply to your NewsPage, so visitors will find that if they click that link, they just re-open the NewsPage that they were already viewing.
Another way is to include a link within your item description. And a simple way to do that is to just include the full URL (including the http prefix) within the description. Enfeedia will make that an active link but with the prefix removed. But if you'd like a more descriptive text-link, use the text-link tool when associated with posting your feed; it's one of the form entries.
Having said that, if your posting is complete in and of itself, requiring no other online document to provide the full story, then you can leave your Item Link blank, as is the case for this posting. But wouldn't you want to have a link somewhere, whether as the Item Title or within the description so visitor can learn more about you?
