Briefly, to clarify, GroupWorks presents clubs as groups with GroupWorks being the actual club. That is because you cannot access the groups from outside GroupWorks; you must get a GroupWorks account and log in to even see what groups exist inside. You get an account by being invited by someone inside GroupWorks or by a group leader choosing to give you an account. (This is the reason the HOA will not accept links to GroupWorks for SBR clubs in the HOA directory.)
Second, the primary features are the Message stream and Events. The Calendar and Groups are loaded with items unrelated to your group (probably from your standpoint amounts to clutter) unless you eliminate all Channels and Passions. If you want to find other groups throughout the GroupWorks world, those channels and passions will help you find them, just as others outside SBR can find your group and even request membership. Visit My Account to edit channels and passions. Every GroupWorks account holder, therefore every member of a group, must do that for themselves because it is a personal choice.
