Wood Shop
In observance of government guidelines and HOA direction, the following procedures for the use of the wood shop will be necessary. If you are in an at-risk category, please consider carefully the risks before returning to the studio. If you are feeling sick or have a fever, please do not come to the wood shop. Staying healthy and safe is your primary consideration.
These restrictions will allow us to enjoy our studio again while practicing social distancing and sanitation issues. The HOA and the wood shop will review and update these guidelines as necessary to ensure the health and safety of our community. This plan must be followed by all members until further notice. No guests will be allowed in the studio.
Failure to adhere to any of these guidelines may result in removal of studio privileges after initial warning.
Set up:
One entrance and one to exit the CATC building
Studio doors will remain propped open while studio in session
Monitor will sign members in
Only one person per table/station
Temporary maximum capacity is 8 to ensure social distancing
Scheduling:
Hours will be determined by monitor availability. Please check the website for
weekly schedules.
Monitor must be present and will remain closed if not available
Should maximum capacity be reached, time limits will be set if needed
All classes are temporarily suspended. Machine Orientation will be allowed for
new residents Working in studio:
Wearing a mask is strongly recommended. You must provide your own
Any shop items must be sanitized before putting back
Members stay a minimum of 6' apart throughout the session
Sanitizing:
When a member concludes their work in the studio, they must disinfect their
entire work area
Monitor to disinfect all surface areas periodically
HOA to provide sanitation supplies
