 The SBRWWC board of directors met on March 2, 2023 at 3 pm. Board members Russ Hardy, President; Mike Stroben, Treasurer; and Charlie Anderson, Monitor Coordinator, Neal Drell, Secretary and David Stark, Vice President were Present. Advisors to the board Dan Carter, Maintenance Coordinator; John Gordon, Shop Manager; Ed Cheszek, Training Coordinator were present. Advisor Tom Marshall, CNC Coordinator and IT Coordinator and Scott Saxon, Lathe Coordinator were absent.

Spring Art Walk, April 22 – the club will be participating. The Club Expo is tomorrow in the Sol Ball Room, Charlie and Russ will represent the club at the event from 1 to 3 PM. We're trying to get the head of maintenance to install the new compressor instead of waiting for the current unit to fail completely. The club voted to provide rubber feet for all cutting board classes. CNC has trained 4 new users and a total of 31 users trained. Club voted to allow CNC users and students to use the club-owned basic set of router bits. The Club will Honor Pat Hendricks on the shop plaque. The purchase of dust collectors for hand routers was not approved. Donations are accepted with NO Strings attached.

The board is agreeable to the purchase of a new compound miter saw pending research and a recommendation. The revised January 1 , 2023 operating procedures was approved.
