Board members Russ Hardy, President; Mike Stroben, Treasurer; and Charlie Anderson, Monitor Coordinator, Neal Drell, Secretary and David Stark, Vice President were Present. Advisors to the board Dan Carter, Maintenance Coordinator; John Gordon, Shop Manager; Ed Cheszek, Training Coordinator were present. Advisor Tom Marshall, CNC Coordinator and IT Coordinator and Scott Saxon, Lathe Coordinator were absent.

Checking - $7,900, Savings $15,700,134 members total

Monitor Coordinator - Charlie Anderson$
25 Monitor Gift Card went to John Gordon for already monitoring/training more than the annual minimum. Jim Lindley is a new Monitor. Sent out a survey to the 26 non-renewing members asking why! 7 responses were returned. No identifiable trends. A show of hands from the membership indicated a significant member interest in evening shop hours. The club will begin opening in an evening each week on a trial basis for evaluation. We raffled-off 2 gift cards for $25 at Woodworkers Source.


Training Coordinator - Ed Cheszek

Spring Art Walk, April 22 – the club will be participating. The Club Expo is tomorrow in theSol Bal l Room, Charlie and Russ will represent the club at the event from 1 to 3 PM. We're trying to get the head of maintenance to install the new compressor instead of waiting for the current unit to fail completely. The new compressor unit has been installed.
The club voted to provide rubber feet for all cutting board classes. Club voted to allow CNC users and students to use the club-owned basic set of router bits. The Club will Honor Pat Hendricks on the shop plaque. The board voted to purchase 2 jigs for Joinery 201 class. The techs have installed the new back-up power supply. The board approved the 8thRevision of club operating procedures. The board is looking at replacing the existing mitre saw.



New business was discussed:
A member requested we add compressed air lines to some of the work tables to make it easier to use the nail guns. The board will discuss this
